The collection, dedicated to JK
's adoptive mother, was published by Bloodaxe Books
in Newcastle upon Tyne, with a photograph of human chromosomes on the cover.
Her Poems 1960-1967 (a re-issue of Poems, 1966) appeared by September 1983, and Bloodaxe Books
published a British Selected Poems in 1986.
