Orlando’s tags enable the semantic markup that drives its unique retrieval and display. Learn more here about the tags and how they are used. As noted in the Markup section of the Introduction, the tagset is divided into Biography or Life tags and Writing tags, with Bibliography and Core tags that cut across both. Writing, the most detailed tagset, is in turn divided into Production, Reception, and Textual Features.
Visual diagrams here show the major tags. The Tag Glossary provides definitions of tags, attributes, and how they are used.
