Biography

The unexplained tendency of reference sources to call her Elizabeth West instead of Elisabeth Wast (the name printed on the title-page of her book in its first edition) has caused that edition, which is not in the British Library , to be overlooked by such standard sources as The Feminist Companion and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
