Elizabeth Walker's writings, dating from the later seventeenth century, comprise "diary entries, prayers, meditations, letters, memoirs of early life," writings about her husband, her children and herself, and religious advice designed for them.

Milestones
12 July 1623 Elizabeth Sadler (later EW) was born in
Bucklersbury (a central part of the City of London, close to the present Bank of England).

23 February 1690 EW died after a short illness which her
husband reported as a combined "Rheumatism, Erysipelas, and Peripneumonia."

Probably May 1690 EW's widower, the Rev.
Anthony Walker, published
The Holy Life of Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, which is very largely composed of her own writings.
